Research Abstract

新生児ラットの心臓から単離した細胞と液状のコラーゲンを混合し、鋳型に注入し培養することによって肉眼で拍動の観察可能な人工心筋組織を作成した。収縮力測定試験ではこれまでに報告されているような収縮力は得られなかったが、その異常の原因が、細胞内のカルシウムハンドリングに関連する異常によるものである可能性を遺伝子発現の検討によって明らかにした。今後の検討によっては、病的な心筋組織のモデルとして利用可能な人工心筋組織作成の可能性が示された。
