Research Abstract |
既にアパタイト系材料は臨床現場で用いられている。しかしながら、アパタイト系材料については生体親和性や骨伝導能といった巨視的現象のみが注目され、分子レベルの微視的な変化についてはあまり解明が進んでいない。本研究では、組成や結晶形態に特徴のあるカルシウムハイドロキシアパタイトを合成し、アパタイト系セラミックスとタンパク質の相互作用に着目して研究を行った。その結果、ハイドロキシアパタイトにおいて結晶形態がタンパク質吸着に大きく影響を及ぼすことを見出し、結晶形態の制御によりタンパク質に対する親和性を制御できた。
