Research Abstract |
This study aimed to construct a fundamental framework for the research of the art used on the occasion of Renaissance courtly festivals. 1) chariots in triumphal entry, 2) tableaux vivants adorned the chariots, 3)ephemeral constructions (apparati in italian) set in the streets, 4)festival books (the media that recorded the festivals).
