| Research Abstract |
本研究では、英国王政復古期の作家アフラ・ベインの演劇・散文作品に見られる<他者>表象を、ジェンダー・党派政治イデオロギーの側面のみならず、人種・階級・振る舞いのコードなどの側面からも分析し、その結果、演劇的表象が<他者>のステレオタイプへの固定化に向かうことを明らかにする一方で、散文における<他者>表象は複層化することを確認した。
