Research Abstract

本研究課題では、1920年代東京における地下鉄の導入過程について、テクノロジーに内在化される論理と都市の多重的リアリティとの接合という観点から考察した。(1)早川徳次の構想が高速鉄道網の策定と結びつく経緯、(2)路面電車の導入過程との比較、(3)デパートとの連携と地下鉄ストアの設立、という三点の検討をつうじて、統計的都市のリアリティに準拠する一連の知と想像力が地下鉄の構想と連接し、新たな都市的現実が生み出されてゆく動態を照らしだした。
