Research Abstract |
Developmental process of integrative reading comprehension, which corresponds to the reading in academic literacy in university learning, was explored. The analysis of the process of reading newspapers was first carried out, but the way how to read newspapers did not differ depending on the length of university learning. It could be concluded that reading strategy which students use in classes did not used in their more daily reading activity. I reorganized the issues of academic literacy from the perspective of making the foundation of students' life-long development through the review of studies in psychology, linguistics and philosophy.
