Research Abstract

金属ナノワイヤを無数に束ねた構造が,ナノサイズの物体を鮮明に観察することのできるイメージングデバイスとなることを計算により示した.イメージングメカニズムには金属ナノワイヤ上に誘起される局所的共鳴プラズモンを利用している.ワイヤにナノギャップを設けることで,高効率な広帯域共鳴特性が得られることを新たに見出した.本構造は,光の回折限界を超えた解像度でのイメージングを可能とする画期的なデバイスである.
