Research Abstract |
界面の密着・剥離特性を正確に評価するためには、ミクロな微小欠陥の挙動を3次元的に取り扱え、かつ、異材ナノ界面のマクロな特性との相関を推定できるようなマルチスケール的視点に立った計算手法の確立が必要である。初年度は、原子系と連続体系とを空間的にカップリングさせた分子動力学/有限要素法シミュレーターを開発し、達成コードの高速化・ダイナミクス化・大規模化を達成した。次年度では、シミュレーターを、Ru/Cu/SiO2系へのナノインデンテーション計算に実際に適用した。これにより、半導体デバイスの典型的界面であるCu/SiO2界面のクラック発生と進展挙動に関する原子レベルの知見を得ることに初めて成功した。
