Research Abstract

巨大磁気抵抗効果を示すデバイス素子の反強磁性層として重要な役割を担う、Mn系反強磁性合金の基礎物性、ならびに状態図に関する研究を行った。L1_0型MnRh合金の磁化、電気抵抗測定、ならびに低温比熱測定を行い、フェルミ面近傍の電子状態密度が低いことを示唆する結果が得られた。MnPdおよびMnGa合金については実用材料として重要なfcc-γ相やL1_0型-β相等の単相領域を明らかにした。
