Research Abstract

LPSのシグナル伝達はMyD88とTRIFの2つを介した経路が存在する。本研究で新たに開発したLPS-liposomeがTRIF経路のみを活性化することを明らかとし、さらにその活性化にはクラスリン依存性のエンドサイトーシスが重要であることを示した。このLPS-liposomeによる活性化は、これまでTRIF経路活性化に必須とされているCD14を必要としないことから、通常のLPSの認識においてCD14がクラスリン依存性エンドサイトーシスと強く関連することが予測される。
