Research Abstract

統合失調症患者30名と年齢と性別をあわせた健常対照群25名に対して、前部帯状回と左基底核にてプロトン磁気共鳴スペクトロスコピーを実施した。前部帯状回でのグルタミン酸とミオイノシトールは統合失調症群で有意に低かった。男性群のみでの解析では、前部帯状回でのグルタミン酸、クレアチン含有化合物、ミオイノシトール、N-アセチルアスパラギン酸が統合失調症群で有意に低下しているにもかかわらず、女性群のみでの解析ではいずれの化合物でも有意差を認めず、性差の存在が示唆された。
