Research Abstract

骨髄由来細胞株を用いた実験から、Nocthシグナルは、Nocth細胞内ドメインがβcateninと複合体を形成し、Wnt/βcateninシグナル標的遺伝子の転写を抑制することにより骨芽細胞分化を抑制することが明らかとなった。さらに骨芽細胞特異的にNocthシグナルを活性化したマウスでは、骨形成が低下し、Wnt/βcateninシグナル標的遺伝子の発現が減少していた。以上の結果より、Nocthシグナルは、Wnt/βcateninシグナルを抑制することにより、骨芽細胞分化を調節する役割を持つことが示唆された。
