Research Abstract |
This research relates to a system that provides continuous support to preschool children with developmental disorders, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disability (LD), and high-functioning autism, and their parents. With regard to the characteristics of these children, we have examined the types of support systems that are effective in order to facilitate the understanding of professionals involved. For example, appropriate communication with professionals at the children's day care center, kindergarten, and elementary school prevent maladjustment of children after their developmental disorders have been detected at an infant health check and enable such facilities to provide support to these children and their parents.
