Outline of Research at the Start

少子高齢社会における深刻な問題のひとつに、高齢者を始めとする人々の社会的な孤立がある。本研究では、人々をつなぎ、人々に安心感を与える物理エージェント技術を開発して、この社会的問題に対するソリューションを提示することを目指す。物理エージェントのソフトウェア・ハードウェアに関する要素技術側面から、技術の導入側面に至るまで、幅広い側面における研究を行う。フィールド実験や調査によって技術検証や知見収集を行い、物理エージェントの設計指針を明らかにする。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題において当初計画中で予定されていた内の最後の大きなトピックであった受け手側の特性を考慮した社会的仲介エージェントの設計指針（伝え方研究）を実施完了した。具体的には、HRI実験および調査研究を実施し、そこから得られた結果の分析から上述の設計指針を抽出した。このプロジェクトの成果をまとめ上げ、27ページの詳細な論文として当該分野の主要国際雑誌であるIJSRに投稿され採択に到っている。
コロナ禍による計画微修正を経て開始された各種要素技術研究についても各々進捗し、国内外の学会にて成果を報告した。孤立抑制のためのソーシャルな物理エージェントの一機能としてペット動物のふるまいに着想を得た接触インタラクション技術や外観、エージェントが移動形態を有する場合の安定制御方式、ウェアラブルな形態を有する場合の機構提案などで各々研究が進んだ。
これらの成果を前年度までにすでに成果をあげて公表済の送り手側の特性をふまえた設計指針と合わせて本研究課題の最終目標であった高齢者の孤立抑制のための一ソリューションである社会的仲介エージェントの設計指針を得るに到り、当初研究計画より1年間の前倒しとなるが本研究計画の完了に到った。
