| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では、20世紀日本で展開された左派社会運動の重要な一環をなした文学運動が担った役割に着目して、サークル誌・同人誌をも含む多様な表現から運動を担った人びとの〈生きられた運動経験〉を読み取ることで、運動を担った「個」の主体性に着目した左派社会運動史／文学運動史の構築を目指す。
とくに、東アジアの物流・人流の拠点であった神戸で多様な民族構成の人びとを担い手としつつ展開された文学運動の経験に着目し、左派社会運動／文学運動が東アジアへと〈越境する想像力／創造力〉を生み出していった思想的脈絡についても明らかにしていく。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focuses on the role played by the literary movement, which was an important part of the leftist social movement that developed in 20th century Japan, and aims to construct a history of the leftist social movement/literary movement that focuses on the subjectivity of the “individuals” who took part in the movement by reading the “lived experiences of the movement” of the people who took part in the movement through various expressions including circle magazines and dojinshi. In particular, I aimed to construct a history of logistics and people's movements in East Asia. In particular, by focusing on the experience of the literary movement that developed in Kobe, a hub of distribution and human flow in East Asia, with a diverse ethnic composition of people as its bearers, we have clarified the ideological context in which the leftist social and literary movements generated “imagination and creativity” that crossed the border into East Asia.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
左派社会運動に関する近年の研究成果の多くが、主として社会学研究者を担い手とする戦後期に集中している一方、歴史学研究者が担ってきた戦前期を対象とする研究は減少の一途をたどっている。このような制約のもと、戦前／戦後の左派社会運動の経験がそれぞれ独立した経験として扱われる傾向が強くなっていた。20世紀全体を対象とした本研究は、一貫した視点のもと戦前／戦後の左派社会運動の経験を通時的に把握することを実現した。また、本研究では、党派や組織の方針書の分析だけでは理解できない、運動を担った個々の多様な経験をすくい上げたことで、より人びとの実感に近い社会運動史を描き出すことができた。
