Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
We conducted overseas research in Denmark from October 2019 to March 14, 2020. Initially, the research focused on the medical device and robotics fields, but it was later expanded to include healthcare and daycare. We have clarified that co-creation with users and the formation of an ecosystem of industry-government-academia collaboration are important factors. Furthermore, the insights gained in Denmark unequivocally identified the role of companies in facilitating social implementation tests in living labs and a intermediary company that is feasible to link local governments and product developers. Going forward,it is implied that ecosystems in Japan should be formed through not only transactional relationships but also effectuation (the behavioural patterns of entrepreneurs seeking to create a desirable future).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
