周産期・小児期の遺伝医療における夫婦・家族間調整のため、一般看護職に必要なアセスメント・介入の視点は何かを探索し、国内外における遺伝看護と家族看護の知識から実践へ統合する看護教育プログラムを開発する。
まず、①周産期・小児期の一般看護職への面接調査、事例から家族への介入方法を探る。②経験豊かな専門職(認定遺伝カウンセラー・遺伝専門看護師)への参与観察から、看護職に必要な家族間の情報共有・意思決定支援を明らかにする。その後、③遺伝的課題を抱える家族に対し、家族間調整に関する面接調査を行う。これまでに展開してきた遺伝看護教育プログラムにおいて、家族看護の視点を発展させ、実施・評価を行う。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Although genetic screening and treatment are progressing, family care is important because genetic diseases tend to be shared among family members. To explore the genetic nursing competencies of nurses involved in perinatal and pediatric care when interacting with families, we conducted surveys on families' current situation, implemented educational programs, and reviewed the literature.
In family care for genetic conditions, the following areas were identified as requiring coordination: [support for treatment decision-making], [support for acceptance and attachment formation for children], [support for home childcare], and [family care in genetic counseling]. Considering disease characteristics and individuality, it is important to promote understanding of genetic diseases, encourage expression of feelings, consider “family life” including children with genetic diseases, and establish an environment that enables multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous involvement.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
周産期・小児期の一般看護職が遺伝性疾患の児と家族を支援する、遺伝看護実践能力を探索するために、家族の現状調査、遺伝看護卒後教育プログラム、セミナーの実施、活動報告、文献調査等を実施した。その結果、看護職は疾患特性と個別性を考慮し、遺伝性疾患に対する理解を促す、思いの表出を促す、遺伝性疾患の児を含めた「家族の生活」を考える、多職種連携と継続的な関わりができる環境を整えることが重要であると示唆された。
