| Outline of Research at the Start |
この研究では，文理融合型の学問の形成の過程について分析する。学問の形成という大きな動きの中で，個別の論文を対象としてどのような変化のパターンが起こるかを明らかにする。具体的には，新たな学問が形成された期間に，学術雑誌に掲載された論文を分析し，引用関係や扱うトピック，著者のような学問における構造的変化を明らかにする。
一定の歴史を持った文理融合型の学問分野である図書館情報学分野を，分析の事例として用いる。本研究の結果は，現在生まれつつある文理融合型の学問領域が，確立した学問分野として受け入れられるようになるのかを考える上で重要な示唆を与えるだろう。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research employed library and information science as a case study to analyze micro-level changes in academic papers within the macro-level structural evolution of academic fields. The study aimed to elucidate the patterns through which new academic fields are established, thereby offering important insights into how emerging interdisciplinary fields might gain societal acceptance as established disciplines. To achieve this, research articles in library and information science were analyzed using bibliometrics, text mining, and content analysis. The results revealed that the field's formation process was characterized by several key phenomena: the emergence of subfields, the convergence of disruptiveness (i.e., the consolidation of knowledge), and changes in the types of inscriptions utilized.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、文理融合型学問領域が社会に受容される過程を、図書館情報学という確立された学際分野の事例を通して解明を試みた。本研究の成果は、現在および今後形成されるであろう新しい学問分野が、いかに発展し、社会に定着していくかについて、重要な示唆を与える。計量書誌学を中心に複数の手法により、学問分野の形成というマクロな構造変化の中で生じる、下位領域の形成、研究の破壊性の収束、および論文における描出の使用の変化といったミクロな変化を定量的に明らかにした。これらの結果は他の分野との比較検討を通じて、学際分野の確立メカニズムに関する普遍的なパターン解明へとつながり、学術研究のあり方にも貢献すると考えられる。
