ソ連崩壊はロシア社会のみならず、文化全体に大きな変化をもたらした。資本主義の流入によって新たな文化が形づくられる一方で、経済的な混乱は社会に暗い影を落とした。そしてプーチン政権が誕生した00年代以降は社会の保守化が進み、文化においてもナショナリズムや愛国的な言説が目立つようになっている。こうした背景を踏まえ、本研究では、ソ連崩壊後のロシア文化、あるいはそれに大きな影響を与えた後期ソ連の非公式文化の幅広い分析を通じて、現代ロシア文化におけるナショナル・アイデンティティの表象を考察する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The collapse of the Soviet Union brought about profound changes not only in Russian society but also across the cultural sphere. While the influx of capitalism gave rise to new forms of culture, the accompanying economic turmoil cast a dark shadow over society. Since the rise of the Putin administration in the 2000s, there has been a growing trend of conservatism in society, with nationalism and patriotic discourse becoming increasingly prominent in the cultural domain as well.
Against this backdrop, the present study explores representations of national identity in contemporary Russian culture through a wide-ranging analysis of artistic works that have emerged from late Soviet and post-Soviet Russia, spanning literature and the arts to subcultures such as hip-hop.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、文学や芸術からヒップホップといったサブカルチャーまで、後期ソ連およびポストソ連のロシアで見られた芸術作品を幅広く分析し、そこで見られるナショナル・アイデンティティの表象を読み解いた。本研究は、日本ではまだ充分に研究が行われているとは言い難い現代ロシア文化とナショナリズムの関係を本格的に検討した点で学術的意義があり、また、2022年にウクライナ戦争が始まったことによるロシアのナショナリズムに対する関心の高まりに応えるという点で大きな社会的意義が認められる。
