Research Abstract

「国際的研究開発プログラム」
SLHCに向けたふたつの国際協力、シリコンマイクロストリップセンサー開発とプラナーピクセルセンサー開発に参加。6月およびll月に欧州原子核研究機構(CERN)での研究集会にて、ストリップセンサーセッションの座長を勤め、またセンサー開発状況・日本での放射線損傷試験・ハイブリッド開発について発表。プラナープラナーピクセルセンサーセッションではピクセルセンサーの日本での製造状況について発表。先端の研究状況を相互に理解するとともに開発の競争・協力関係を築いている。
「p型シリコンマイクロストリップセンサーの放射線損傷と耐放射線性の高度化」
ホットエレクトロン装置によりマイクロディスチャージ発生点を同定、TCADシミュレーションプログラムにより発生電圧の構造依存性を評価。結果として、p型シリコン基材を使用するn一ストリップ読み出しセンサーの10cm角の大型シリコンマイクロストリップセンサーにおいても、空乏化電圧1kVまでマイクロディスチャージを発生しないセンサーを開発した。1kVの空乏化電圧はSLHCで予想されるストリップセンサー領域で予想される空乏化電圧であり、この大型センサーの完成によりSLHCでのストリップセンサーに目処が立ったと言える。
「シリコン半導体飛跡測定器の構造及び熱設計の手法の確立」
ヒータやダミーシリコンを用いた熱評価モジュールを評価し、限要素法と良い一致結果を得ている。ダミーハイブリッドによるワイヤー本ディングの評価から、ASIC+4層ラミネートハイブリッド+カーボン材の裏打ち構造の強度評価・最小厚を決定。実機センサーと実機ハイブリッドを組合せた実機モジュールの強度評価・熱設計と有限要素法との一致度を評価中。最終評価を得るにはもうしばらく時間が必要。
