Research Abstract |
In order to : 1. support residents requiring disasters during disasters in occurrence of hazards including epidemic diseases, 2. inquire safeties of residents during disasters, and 3. support the living of residents in post-disaster evacuation centers including medical care and nursing, pre-registration and frequent update of personal information is crucial. In this study we have constructed two systems : evacuation support system utilizing geographical information system, QR code and wireless communication technologies with emphasis on personal information protection ; and prototype system that records residents' medical and health conditions in order to relieve stress at evacuation centers. The effectiveness of the two systems were tested in empirical studies conducted in evacuation drills.
