Research Abstract |
The results of present study demonstrate Notch3 as an important regulator for muscle repair. The data indicate Notch3 negatively regulate both proliferation and self-renewal of activated satellite cells after muscle injury. These results provide insight into the mechanisms of self-renewal and homeostatic regulation of satellite cells during muscle regeneration.
