Research Abstract |
Career destinations of new graduates of secondary and tertiary schools around Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand were surveyed. As a result, the following findings were gotten : (1)A large part of graduates of secondary schools were going on tertiary schools such as university and colleges. (2)The ratio of graduates going on tertiary schools was already in the level at the advanced country. (3)The largest part of new graduates of universities got jobs in Chiang Mai and other regions in Northern Thailand. (4)Next, a large number of new graduates found their jobs in the Bangkok metropolitan area. In this respect, the tertiary educational institutes could be pointed out to play the role of sending off new educated workers to the Bangkok metropolitan area.
