Research Abstract |
How did the writers react to the "6 February 1934 crisis", a domestic political crisis experienced by the French Third Republic after the Dreyfus affair? In the present study, we first clarified the fact that the crisis forced "a return to politics "generally on the literary figures, and then discussed how Georges Bataille, AndreChamson, and Pierre Drieu La Rochelle considered the crisis, what kind of political choices they made, and how the choices were reflected in their writing activities.
