Research Abstract |
The relation between a social system and acting agents in the context of globalization and functional differentiation is formulated on the level of general theory. In order to give concrete shape to this general formulation, the problem of biosecurity in a research institute for bioscience and biotechnology as an intermediate unit is considered. The risks of leak out of research information beyond the boundary of the institute and the possibilities of regulation are specified with the concept of boundary management of information.
