Research Abstract |
I-125 brachytherapy sources are widely used for treatment of prostate cancer. It is necessary to investigate the dose angular dependence of the source for purpose of quality control. We assembled a large volume free air chamber and conducted angular distributions of the source with unique jig which enabled us to rotate the source in 3-dimension. We evaluated correction factor and measurement uncertainty. It shows that we measured accurate distributions.
