Research Abstract |
A sustainable daylighting system is developed to reduce Carbon Dioxide (CO2) from artificial lightings in Asia. It utilizes the Internet and PC spreading rapidly in developing countries. The system downloads meteorological satellite images every hour and calculates the local sky luminance distribution, daylight illuminance and glare in rooms. Then it controls the lighting system to supply minimum lighting energy keeping the required illuminance level
