Research Abstract |
As higher education has expanded and economic and cultural globalization have advanced, many countries including Japan have been increasingly interested in the quality of higher education. Especially in the age of the knowledge economy the governments and the industry have much paid attention to the quality of the graduates. In other words, they are concerned with what graduates understand, are able to do and value upon the graduation. As the result of policy concern with learning outcomes and assessment of them, the outcome-based higher education reform is introduced in many countries.
