Research Abstract |
This study clarified a social background and historical transition for media sports and sports journalism in France and reviewed how a media sports culture was constructed with recognition of importance for "Public broadcasting system" while advocating a commercial broadcasting right and interest of sports organization. Furthermore, with holding a public symposium by media sports relevant people of the French and Japanese, the study clarified a real character of the modern media sports in public nature and globalization and examined the identity of media sports, sports journalism, and media sports culture.
