| Research Abstract |
The document reports a study on Ukiyo-zoshi and Haikai of Saikaku and Dansui, including relating fields. In the research of their Haikai, the annotation was newly applied to "Haikai-Danbukuro" etc.. As a result, the similarity between Saikaku and Dansui and the relation among Saikaku's Haikai in his later years, Danrin-Haikai, and Genroku-Haikai were pointed out. Moreover, the features of Ukiyo-zoshi written by Saikaku and those of Dansui were newly clarified. On this study, my investigation and analysis on Ukiyo-zoshi of other writers and the reputation records of prostitute namely Yujo-Hyobanki at that time are reflected.
