Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research is the research about the preservation of cultural properties in the old city "Chang an" in modern China. I use various data about Kiroku Adachi and the person of Meiji era. Kiroku Adachi wrote "the research of the Chang an historic relics". The following investigations were performed.(1) Comparison of the ruins of the old photograph which Kiroku Adachi took and the present photograph.(2) the research about the political power and cultural policy of modern China, through investigation about the transformation from Beilin to modern museum(3) The overseas outflow of the cultural assets of Xi'an, and the present possession situation(the University of Pennsylvania museum and Muse'e Guimet) Through foreigner visiting to xian, many people reconcerned the cultural properties of xian in modern China. But in modern China, since many governments existed, the preservation of cultural properties policy was also performed separately. Therefore, the museum for preservation of cultural properties was materialized at last in 1944.In addition, since investigation of Kiroku Adachi collection was attained through this research, the further research is expectable.
