Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to examine of the relationship between museums and publicness, focusing on the creation of openness by museum architecture and thinking about it from the perspective of museum audiences. Thereupon this study defined openness as "the feeling that various people accessible and the activities(the condition) that open to people and the society", it analyzed the effects and the functions of museum architecture for the protection of publicness of museums. On this occasion this study carried on theoretical research into the arrangement of paradigm of publicness, et al., and case studies of museums, with checking theory against practice.
