The researcher developed a novel type of two-dimensional electrophoresis using phosphate-affinity polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) for the analysis of phosphoproteins. By this procedure, the separations of phosphoprotein isotypes should be improved relative to those by current PAGE methods.
