Research Abstract |
Endometriosis occurs in about 10% of reproductive age women. The etiology of it is not clearly defined. In this study we examined the activation of two signal pathway (JAK-STAT pathway and, RAS-MAP pathway) in endometriosis. 50 of endometriosis case and 50 of control cases were examined. In 15 endometriosis patients STAT3 was activated. The age, use of NSAIDs, affection period were not related to the activation of STAT3. The activity of STAT3 was slightly lower in a preoperative Gn-RHa administrated group. No obvious tendency was fined in MAP pathway.
