Research Abstract |
The physical characteristic when methyl methacrylate resin(MMA resin) was irradiated with the low energy electron beam(LEB) was investigated. And LEB considered the influence which it has on MMA resin. Investigation items are surface hardness, the amount of saturation water absorption, and adhesiveness. There was no significant difference on the conditions which irradiated with LEB from each test result, and the conditions with which it is not irradiating. From this research, even if it performed LEB irradiation to the resin for denture bases made into the object, not reducing the physical characteristic was shown.
