Research Abstract |
The aim of this study was to investigate the social information-processiong and judgment in relational and overt aggression. For 101 children, a teacher rating measure was used to assess social behavior (relational aggression, overt aggression, pro-social behavior). The pattern of the social information processing was evaluated by a provocation and ambiguous stories. Observations were made in classroom and playground. In the main results, relationally aggressive children did not have a significant difference in the social information processing score compared with prosocial children.
