Research Abstract

本研究ではタイプの異なる種子貯蔵物質のタンパク質と油脂について、イネとゴマを用いて種子特異的な高蓄積に関わる転写活性化機構を調査した。その結果、イネの種子貯蔵タンパク質遺伝子の高発現は、少なくとも2種の転写因子間の相互作用が関与すること、加えて、両転写因子は貯蔵油脂や貯蔵デンプンの蓄積にも関与することも明らかとなった。また、ほとんど知見の得られていなかった、ゴマの貯蔵油脂生合成系遺伝子の発現解析に必要な遺伝子群の単離、解析を行った。
