Research Abstract |
F-spondin, a specific dental follicle cell gene can play a important role during periodontal ligament development via TGF-b. It became clear that F-spondin guided the type I collagen and type XII collagen expression of periodontal ligament cell by overexpression and knockdown experiment. Thus, F- spondin can control the form of the collagen matrix in the tooth development.
