| Outline of Research at the Start |
術数は、古代中国で成立した陰陽・五行の数理に基づく吉凶判断であるが、本研究は、前研究（16H03466）での成果(術数に関わるもの全てを〈術数文化〉と定義）を軸に、東アジア世界をより深く分析し、人的・物的・政治的交流を主とする対外関係史・交流史に対して、思想史・文化史の側面から新たな視覚を提供するため、時期を限定（５～12世紀）し、〈術数文化〉を議論する。その際、前研究では分析対象であった〈術数文化〉を本研究ではアプローチ手法に据え、〈術数文化〉が対象としていた世界認識そのものを対象化し議論することにより、東アジア的視点からの世界分析・現状分析の手法・概念を提示することができると考えている。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The following seven points can be listed as the results of this research. (1) The popularization of the term "Shushu culture（術数文化）," (2) related individual research by each member, (3) publication of reprints and annotations of "Tiandiruixiangzhi（天地瑞祥志）," (4) translation of foreign papers, (5) holding international symposiums, (6) publication of a website, and (7) publication of a collection of papers as a report of the results. In particular, the issue (1), which is related to this research project as a whole, has gained recognition within the related academic community through the use of this definition by Mizuguchi, the principal investigator, and other members of the institute in various places since its definition in the previous JPS project (JPS16H03466).

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
「〈術数文化〉網」というHPを公開したが、その中には〈術数文化〉の基本文献紹介のほか、関連の最新研究情報も載せられており、全世界から関連情報にアクセスできるようになったことの意義は大きい。〈術数文化〉が関連学界内で浸透し始めたことと合わせて考えるに、東アジア全体で〈術数文化〉を検討し、分析する準備が整ったことになる。また、『天地瑞祥志』の校注も残存9巻のほぼすべての検討が終了し、全巻公開できる体制が整いつつあることは、今後の研究において非常に大きな意味を持っている。上記（２）（４）（５）（７）も広く〈術数文化〉を世に知らしめることができるものであり、本研究課題が斯界に寄与すること大である。
