| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、上方舞の“吉村流の流派を象徴する芸風”を映像分析から検証する試みである。吉村流は、上方舞四大流派であり、現在の家元六世「吉村輝章（1947年～）」氏は、人間国宝であった四世「吉村雄輝（1923年2月2日～1998年1月29日）」氏の内弟子で技芸の研鑽に励み、「舞の一挙手一投足、呼吸や目線に至るまで厳格に伝承が守られている」という。本研究の目的は、四世と六世、家元２名映像を資料として、映像分析ソフトの機能を利用し、歌詞に対する動作と動作軌跡等の視点から共通性・類似性等を明らかにすることによって、流派としてこだわる吉村流が伝える伝承の芸（運動の特徴）を客観的に明らかにすることである。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research aims to clarify the artistic styles of the Kamigata-mai dance at the Yoshimura School and explore key aspects of its transmission of classical performing arts.We analyze the dances of successive grand masters (Iemoto) using the Stromotion feature of Dartfish software and video materials.Since automated motion tracking has proven difficult, we manually trace to retrieve motion data.
Consequently, Yuki Yoshimura's dance motions are characterized by large,circular movements at various speeds. Kisho's motions show relatively little change in speed and demonstrate the characteristics of vertical and horizontal elliptical movements.Furthermore, the movements of Kisho's disciple show nuances similar to those of the master.We hope this research contributes to the transmission of the art and the succession of dance techniques.

現在、吉村流は七世の時代を迎え、その伝統を受け継ぐ使命を担っている。しかし、古典芸能全般において弟子の数が減少傾向にあり、伝統の継承はかつてない困難に直面している。本研究は、流派の舞の伝承に寄与する技術的な要素を解明することを目的としつつ、その根底にある研究精神として、戦後に卓越した才能を発揮し、人間国宝として認定された四世・吉村雄輝の偉業を含め、流派の枠を超え、気高く美しく、芸術性豊かな邦舞の継承と普及を望むものであり、日本の古典芸能ならびに芸術の未来の発展に寄与することを、心から期待するものである。
