Outline of Research at the Start

パプアニューギニアとその周囲地域では，およそ1000言語もの言語が話されており，言語的多様性が非常に高い地域である．本研究では，パプアニューギニアのマダン州で話されている3種類（ニューギニア系，オーストロネシア系，トクピシン）の言語を，6言語選択し，それらの言語の現実および非現実の動作を表す表現を現地で収集する．
動詞の動作に関する文法形を，時制，アスペクト，ムードと別々に扱うのだが，本研究は，現実と非現実という意味を基盤に，時制とアスペクトとムードに関する統合的な分析を目指すものである．
