Outline of Research at the Start	インドネシアは「先住民族に権利に関する国連宣言」を承認したが、国内法ではIndigenous Peopleに対応する訳語はない。インドネシアの国内法では植民地時代のMasyarakat Hukum Adat（慣習法民族）が用いられているが、1998年の改革時代以降はきわめて小規模なコミュニティに限定的にしか認められていない。これに対してNGO関係者はMasyarakat Adat（先住民族慣習法社会）という用語を用いているが、スハルトの開発時代に不当に土地を奪われた人々という意味が強く、その主要な担い手は農耕民であり、狩猟採集民族は力を持っていない。本研究ではこの矛盾を解消する道を探る。
