| Outline of Research at the Start |
日本におけるヤングケアラーの研究は、主に文献レビューや在宅介護に関する調査に留まり、対象も15歳以上となっている。15歳未満の子どもの実態把握は前述した一部の地域だけである。
ヤングケアラーの問題は、子どもの学力や就職、社会性の発達に影響を及ぼし、その背景には、児童虐待の要因である「ひとり親」や「貧困」が含まれ両者の関連性が推察される。
そこで、特に発育発達の著しい学童期に焦点をあて、小学校教諭に対しYCの認識調査を行い実態を把握する。その実態を踏まえ、児童虐待との関連性を明らかにし、学校や地域社会で早期発見や支援の方策を提案できるシステムを構築することを目指す。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to incorporate the young carers' perspective into child abuse prevention and to build a support system through collaboration between schools and the community. A survey of school nurse-teachers revealed their perceptions of support, institutional challenges, difficulties in dealing with the situation, and the effectiveness of careful support practices through health consultations and training with the parties involved. The importance of the role of school nurse teachers was highlighted, suggesting the need to strengthen the system and improve their expertise in the future.

本研究は、ヤングケアラーの視点を児童虐待予防に取り入れ、学校と地域の連携による新たな支援体制の構築を提案した点に学術的意義がある。また、養護教諭の実践を通じて、子どもたちの見えにくい困難を早期に捉え、支援につなげる重要性を示したことは、実践的かつ社会的にも意義深い。ヤングケアラーの理解促進と支援体制強化に資する知見を提供しており、教育・福祉分野の政策形成にも貢献し得る成果である。
