Outline of Research at the Start

SSに関する研究は、genome-wide association study解析やDNAマイクロアレイ解析により関連遺伝子の報告がなされ、分子標的薬を用いた大規模臨床研究が世界的に実施されている。現在までのところ腺外症状に改善が認められても腺症状（乾燥症状）の改善を伴わないという報告である。本研究はこれまでの基礎的研究に基づき、単一の分子でなく病期・病態に応じて複数の分子をターゲットにするという点が新規性に富んでいる。またこれまでのデータの蓄積により本研究遂行の可能性は極めて高いと考えている。
