本研究は、学童期にある発達障害児の家族の家族ストレングスを促進するケアプログラムの開発を目的とする。
家族ストレングスを促進するケアは、学童期にある発達障害児の家族の力を最大限に生かして社会適応を目指すケアとして有用である。まず、学童期にある発達障害児の家族の家族ストレングスを質的帰納的分析法で明らかにする。その上で、看護者が行っている家族ストレングスを促進するケアを特定し、ケアプログラムを開発する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to develop a care program that promotes family strengths for school-age children with developmental disabilities and their families. For research objective 1, which was to clarify the strengths of school-age children with developmental disabilities and their families, 5 categories and 20 subcategories of family strengths were extracted. For research objective 2, which was to clarify nursing support actions that increase the strengths of school-age children with developmental disabilities and their families, 6 categories and 26 subcategories were identified.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
学童期にある発達障がいをもつ子どもとその家族が家族ストレングスを獲得することは、家族員の情緒的安定や親離れ子離れを進めつつ家族のつながりを強化していくこと、子どもの特性に応じて地域との交流を図り、家族が家族らしく成長していくことにつながると考える。しかしながら、発達障がいをもつ子どもとその家族の家族ストレングスは明らかにされていない。家族ストレングスが明らかになることで、学童期にある発達障がいをもつ子どもとその家族の体験の理解、家族がもつ力を活用したケアの考案に貢献できると考える。
