産後うつ病は男女とも15％前後に発症するといわれ、抑うつの原因の一つとして夫婦の関係性が指摘されている。これには言語的コミュニケーションが影響していることが報告されているが、言語的コミュニケーションの相互作用や妊娠を機に起こる変化が夫婦の抑うつにどうに影響しているかは検討されていない。そこで、本研究では、夫婦のコミュニケーションスタイルの相互作用や時期の変化が、夫婦の関係性と周産期の抑うつに影響するかを検証し、加えてこの時期の抑うつの予測因子を抽出する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A longitudinal questionnaire was administered to pregnant women at 30-36 weeks' gestation at two primary health care facilities from gestational age to one month postpartum.
Both couples were more depressed and less intimate with their partners when they were unable to express their grievances and requests.
Husbands with communication styles in which the expression of grievances and requests did not change with time of pregnancy were more depressed than those with other communication styles, indicating the need for changes in communication styles appropriate to the time of pregnancy and the partner. The relationship between husband and wife is ongoing, and it is necessary to teach partnership formation and communication, including the fact that the relationship and the expression of opinions during pregnancy have an impact on the postpartum period, rather than judging the relationship based on a single period of time.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
産後うつ病は男女とも15％前後に発症するといわれる。抑うつのリスク因子に夫婦関係の親密性や満足度の低さがあり、夫婦の満足度は言語的コミュニケーションが強く影響しているが、どのようなスタイルが影響しているのかは明確でない。よってこの研究により夫婦のコミュニケーションスタイルの相互作用や時期別の変化が夫婦の関係性と周産期の抑うつに影響するかを検証し、併せて夫婦の産後の抑うつの予測因子を抽出することは意義がある。妊娠期からの夫婦のコミュニケーションがメンタルヘルスに影響することを踏まえ、健全な夫婦関係の形成支援や夫婦それぞれの産後の抑うつの発生を予測することが可能と考える。
