先行研究で一定の効果が得られた3つの支援（医療的ケアにおける基本的な考え方や各職種の役割の理解を促すこと、医療的ケア場面について看護師、教諭、養護教諭が話し合う機会を提供すること、当該校のニーズに合った各職種の役割が明確に提示されたケアマニュアル作成を支援すること）を組み込んだ１年間の支援プログラムを研究協力が得られた特別支援学校４～６校で実施し、支援プログラム前後に医療的ケア関係者への無記名自記式質問紙調査、グループインタビュー調査を行い、その効果を明らかにする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to implement a one-year support program incorporating three support measures found to be effective in previous studies at two special needs education schools, where only nurses provided medical care, and to clarify its effects.
After the support program, seven out of 11 nurses (64 per cent), 11 out of 23 teachers (48 per cent), and one out of two school nurse teachers (50 per cent) reported that the medical care situation at their schools had improved slightly. In addition, 73 per cent of the nurses, 57 per cent of the teachers, and 100 per cent of the school nurse teachers reported that the program was beneficial, indicating that communication with other professionals had improved. This support program has the potential to achieve multiple goals in medical care and interprofessional collaboration among special needs education schools. These include improving communication between nurses and teachers and reducing the burden felt by them regarding medical care.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の結果、看護師のみが医療的ケアを実施している特別支援学校2校に共通する3つの課題が明らかになり、本支援プログラムが医療的ケアの実施体制の改善に有効であった。そのため、学校全体をアセスメントしその学校の課題を明確にすることに加えて、①医療的ケア関係者に医療的ケアにおける各職種の役割の理解を促し、医療的ケアの場面について一緒に話し合う機会を作ること、②オンラインや近場で安価で受けられる学校における医療的ケアに関する研修会の情報を提供すること、③初めて学校に勤務する看護師へのオリエンテーション資料の作成を支援することが、学校における医療的ケア関係者の連携を促進することが示唆された。
