| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、中国古代の諸儀礼における万歳唱和という所作が、いかに一つの型をなすようになり、当時の人々の心性といかなる関連性をもつのかを解明し、東アジア礼制比較史研究の総合化を促進する。すなわち、（１）諸儀礼にみえる万歳唱和の位置づけを漢～唐にかけて通時代的に分析し、儀礼で果たす役割を解明する。（２）儀礼以外の場における万歳唱和の具体的位相と比較し、儀礼での特徴を解明する。（３）如上の研究成果を日本古代中世史研究や海外の中国史研究に向けて発信する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examined the positioning of the "Wansui Chanting" in ceremonial practices of Chinese dynasties. Specifically,we analyzed the positioning of the Wansui Chanting in dynastic rituals from the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty and elucidates its role in these ceremonies. Furthermore, the research disseminated its findings interdisciplinary and internationally, providing suitable examples for comparative studies on East Asian Li-System.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
万歳唱和という現代でもなじみのある所作を長期スパンで考察し、その推移を国内外において専門の地域・時代を異にする歴史学研究者に向けて成果を公表した。その結果、各時代における多様な受容のありようが見えてきた。比較研究を促進するケーススタディとして一つの参照例を付け加えることができた点に学術的意義があると言えよう。また、万歳唱和というなじみのある所作がどのような場面で繰り返し行われてきたか、その具体的様相をあえて問いに付すことは、我々の社会で「伝統」とみられる所作を問い直すことにもつながる点で社会的意義があると言えよう。
