Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、人や社会を要件として捉え、システム設計を専門とする人間中心設計（以下、HCD）と、集合的な社会・文化に焦点を当てて人間社会を理解することを専門とする文化人類学（以下、人類学）の知見を融合させつつ、人工知能（AI）を適用したシステムの設計において人と社会の調和を考慮したシステム設計思想および設計方法のあり方を検討するものである。本研究では、HCDと人類学の融合する「多元的HCD」という一見矛盾する設計思想を仮説としつつ、2つの学問領域の対話と連携により、実際にAIが導入されている現場（医療支援システムや転職支援サービスなど）のフィールドワークをすることを通し、双方の差異・共通点から課題を整理する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2023年度は以下の4点について実施した。
【実施項目1】　　2022年度に引き続き「HCDと文化人類学の対話研究会」を、2回オンラインでの研究会を実施した（第4回20238/28 人間ー技術関係論、約150名申込）、（第5回2024/3/1 システミックデザイン、約230名申込）。
【実施項目2】 本研究成果に基づいて、デザインおよびソフトウェア関連の業界団体・学会での講演やワークショップを実施した（5/16 一社ソフトウェア協会での講演、9/8 ヒューマンインタフェースシンポジウムで「デザイン思想・哲学専門研究委員会」と協同でワークショップ実施、9/23 人間中心設計推進機構、2024/2/15 一社電子情報技術産業協会デザイン部会での講演）
【実施項目3】　 本研究成果を発展させた教育プログラムを検討し、令和４年度文部科学省「成長分野における即戦力人材輩出に向けたリカレント教育推進事業」に申請し、採択され山梨大学・千葉工業大学・NTTデータの3者合同の教育プログラムとして「AI浸透深化時代を見据えた高度デザイン人材育成プログラム」を実施（2023/10/1ー2024/3/15、23名の方に参加してもらい実施）。
【実施項目4】 本プロジェクト成果報告座談会として「HCDと人類学ー願いとケアのデザイン論」と題した座談会を実施した（2024/3/15）。
本研究は、AI浸透深化時代のHCDのあり方を人類学との対話通してその本質を見直し深め、具体的な設計論へと昇華させることが目的である。具体手法研究では、コンセプトテストの評価法の研究を行った。成果として、ユーザーの利用状況の把握を一歩踏み込み、AIシステム設計者自身が「作り手の願い」を明確にしていく設計論を提案するに至った。また、その考えを技術者に伝達する教育プログラムの開発を行うことができた。
