| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究課題では，大学院生の研究，教育，学習，社会活動などさまざまな活動及びそれを取り巻く環境との相互関係を「大学院生の生態系」と定義し，この生態系を明らかにすることを通して，大学院生の研究活動の駆動を支援することを目指す．具体的には，文献調査や大学院生を対象とした質問紙調査，インタビュー調査を実施，分析し，大学院教育，学習環境デザインに関する提案を行う．

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to elucidate the ecosystem of graduate students by investigating their research and education from various perspectives. As part of this effort, we conducted interviews to understand the pivotal experiences that shape the research activities of doctoral students. The results revealed that, regardless of their field of specialization, a significant number of students struggle with their relationships with faculty members. At the same time, many students were found to maintain their mental well-being through interpersonal relationships both within and outside their laboratories. Additionally, milestones such as submitting papers and applying for JSPS fellowships were identified as major turning points in their academic journey.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では，大学院生の研究，教育について，大学院生の学習・研究活動，大学院生活における感情の起伏の契機，学習環境から捉えた大学院研究室などさまざまな観点から調査を行い、その結果を分析することで，大学院生の生態について把握することができた．これらの結果を踏まえて，大学院教育や学習支援，キャリア支援のあり方について検討し，実践につなげていくことが可能である．
